CAKE SMASH

Messy Moments & Bath Time

Newborn sessions are slow and gentle. I am 100% baby-led and take special care in working with you and your newborn's needs, making sure your baby is safe, warm and comfortable is my number one priority. I have had extensive training over 20 years to handle and pose newborns safely. I avoid overstimulating a newborn and we take breaks as needed for settling and feeding. Depending on how sleepy or hungry your baby is, sessions can take anywhere between 2 to 4 hours.

I am constantly reading your baby’s signs and cues. If your baby is not settling and seems uncomfortable, I adapt my session to ensure the happiness and comfort of your newborn and I monitor the heat of the room and baby. I also use techniques such as sound and motion to help soothe babies into deeper sleep.

For outfit choices, I have a large number of stunning maternity gowns for you to choose from but can also see photos of your own dresses if you prefer. You can also pick from a selection of my floral headbands or we can order a super-something-special fresh from my favourite florist!
